К You can think of the Globals as the master plan for the report.  The details К

К You will see this same screen again when you print your report.  And you     К
К will be able to change some of the values each time you print your report.   К
К However the Define Globals screen in RPTDEF is the only place that you can   К
К permanently change them.                                                     К

К We will begin by specifying the disk and directory that we wish to work in,  К
К the name of the file we wish our definition saved in, the name of the file   К
К that we wish our data definition saved in, the name of our data file, and    К
К the type of a file it is.  That is all we can do with this screen now.  We   К
К will come back to it again later.                                            К
